Dapoxetine is a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) used to treat premature ejaculation (PE) in men aged 18–64 years. It helps improve ejaculatory control, reduce related distress or anxiety, and extends the time before ejaculation. It is taken on-demand, typically 1–3 hours before sexual activity.
